to find percent error find the the fraction: \[ \frac{estimate - truth}{truth}\] change to a decimal, then multiply by 100 to change to a percent.

that is the decimal. multiply by 100 and tack on a % sign to make it a percent

OpenStudy (phi):

you should get 16.279% they want Round your answer to the nearest whole percent. so that becomes 16%
