OpenStudy (objr-_-123):

Which of the following soil types is richest in organic material? A. Red soil B. Blue soil C. Yellow soil D. Dark-colored soil

OpenStudy (osprey):

Wild guess at D. If soil is, effectively, animal decay and waste it tends to be dark. Yellow may suggest sulphur, http://perendis.webs.com

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

I second what Osprey said. In addition, red soil usually has a high iron content and blue soil suggests you may have recently consumed psychedelic drugs.

OpenStudy (osprey):

@legomyego180 nice one ... "blue rinse soil .... ?" (as in the hairdressing salon ?)

OpenStudy (osprey):

@legomyego180 psychadelic soil ????

OpenStudy (studybuddy26):

Red soil ! If you go to the rural areas, the water pipes sometimes runs red from the soil.It's extremely rich in nutrients (like iron ) Wonderful for farming. I use to visit such areas.

OpenStudy (objr-_-123):

@legomyego180 @osprey @studybuddy thanks you guys! the answer was in fact D)

OpenStudy (osprey):

@studybuddy26 I thought that would be the case. I wonder what the differences are between red and black in terms of fertility (obv not in terms of colour, that's pretty obvious).
