OpenStudy (♥ashley♥):

What is the perimeter of the triangle shown on the coordinate plane, to the nearest tenth of a unit? 8.2 units 17.7 units 29.8 units 36.2 units

OpenStudy (3mar):

Need help?

OpenStudy (steve816):

Hey there! Are you aware of the distance formula?

OpenStudy (steve816):

OpenStudy (3mar):

@♥Ashley♥ Why don't you respond to who are helping you!? That is not good ethics! You owe to them!

OpenStudy (steve816):

lol wut, this is asking for perimeter, not area

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

ohhh. than it's my bad. Sorry. I thought it was area. hold on.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

one side the lowest is around 9.4

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

the side one is around 6.2

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

third one the above one will be around 12.6

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

add them all it wud lead to closest answer as 29.8

OpenStudy (steve816):

I don't think you should estimate the lengths, since it's not accurate. On a test or something, I don't think you would get points for estimation.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

just use pythagoras theorem to reach the closest answer.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

for exact answer use traditional method(use distance formula) for guessing correct answer it's the easy way. until options are very close to each other.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

Anyway, C is the right answer.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

@♥Ashley♥ I hope u understand that.
