Uh... Heeeelllp ;-; So I was asked this problem in my class and told to solve it and bring it back solved in a few hours... I have absolutely no idea what to do with this. Derivative of x^4 + 9x^3 + 7x – 2

Have you learned the basic rules of derivatives (power rule for example)? Or are we to use the fundamental theorem of calculus to do this?
I have no idea. I have not learned the basic rules of anything and uh I have no clue what im doing. I have 2 weeks to do it tho, it's one of a few problems i was given to try
Name some of the topics you've learned most recently in class. Perhaps we could apply one or more of them towards solving this problem.
We just finished going over some geometry shat they said would be helpful with these kinds of problems
