@pooja195 chooses a bin marbles at random. Each bin has a weight of 10 tons with a standard deviation of 1 ton. Suppose @satellite73 generously picks 4 bins of marbles for pooja.

What is the standard deviation of the marbles that Satelite picked?

I thought it was 4, cuz it was 4 * 1.
But the answer is 2.
I'm guessing it's because the '4' was squared, but I'm not quite sure why.

If you made an experiment where you dropped something.

So you have the distance and the time of experimental.

Then distance and time of theoretical (no air-friction)

and somehow subtract the times....idk where to go from there
