One of the changes in the music industry during the twentieth century was the increasing commercialization of music. Has music become too commercial? Why or why not? Do you think that artists are creating music for money or for other reasons today?

Some artists probably create music for money, but there are also a lot of artists who create music so people feel like they are a part of something. They also create music for people who are sad or upset to become happier, and to make depression and anxiety more noticed and not just thrown to the side. So it depends on the group.
