James wants to travel from Chicago, Illinois to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To fly, it would take 2 hours and cost $168.00 plus $25.00 to check his luggage. To take the train, it would take 24 hours and cost $101.00. Which travel method should he choose and why?

Well, if he takes the plane he is saving time but losing more money. If he takes the train, he has to spend 24 hours riding until he gets to his stop. If this question was measuring convenience over money, they the answer would be flying. If this question is looking at which option is monetarily better, than the train option would fit. If it were me, I would choose the plane option because he is saving so much more time, and for me time is money.
