I work on latex, the pdf file appears from the RHS, but I cannot save it. How to save pdf file on my desktop? Please help me out. It allows me to print out but not to save.

I save tex and dat sit, not pdf.

You can convert files to .pdf, if you cannot initially save it as a PDF.

I don't want it. Last time, when I save the work, it automatically save both .pdf and .tex
Unfortunately, this time, it doesn't work well. I don't know how to fix it.

Which \(\LaTeX\) program are you using?

I use Texmaker and Miktex.

click on the button in the upper right hand corner (see capture2.jpg). That should open the pdf file in acrobat reader. then save it. The pdf file only saves when you compile the latex code or when you do what I have instructed.
