OpenStudy (valirium):

O:

Elsa213 (elsa213):

Basics: Always begin with `\(` and end with `\)` Example: `\(Hai\)` Spacing: For spaces you'll use `~` Example: `\(Hai~Der\)`

OpenStudy (valirium):

So interesting e.e

Elsa213 (elsa213):

@Valirium e.e

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

what is Latex @Valirium hahah

OpenStudy (valirium):

I think it's some kinda coding thing. Not sure tbh xD @Monkeyboom

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

oh ok @Valirium

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

\(\LaTeX\) is a form of code which allows you to create Mathematical functions in text, allows for a much better way to tutor online, as you can colour, highlight, modify, underline, etc., which helps the student to get a better grasp at what you're trying to explain. It can also be used for artistic purposes; though such wasn't its intent. That's just a brief look into what \(\LaTeX\) is, but really, with \(\LaTeX\), your \(\cal\color{red}{i}\color{orange}{m}\color{yellow}{a}\color{lime}{g}\color{cyan}{i}\color{blue}{n}\color{purple}{a}\color{blueviolet}{t}\color{darkviolet}{i}\color{magenta}{o}\color{pink}{n}\) is the limit. :)

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

Thank u @Whitemonsterbunny17

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

\(\cal\color{blueviolet}{You're~welcome!}\) If you're interested in learning a bit of it, I'd be happy to teach you sometime. :)

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

it looks interesting @Whitemonsterbunny17

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

hey @Whitemonsterbunny17 can u teach me

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

Yes, I'd be happy to! Just post your own question here in \(\LaTeX\), and we'll start there. :)

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

i have not idea

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

I dont know what to do :) @Whitemonsterbunny17

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

Just make a question, haha. :)

OpenStudy (monkeyboom):

any?

whitemonsterbunny17 (whitemonsterbunny17):

Yeah, over near the top-left of your screen there is a box that says "Ask a question...". You can put some random text in there or just type something like "Can anyone teach me how to do LaTeX?" and then click on 'Post'. After you've done so, I'll head over to your question and teach you some of the basics. :)
