Which of the following would be the best choice to accurately measure the volume of water? A. Beaker B. Funnel C. Balance D. graduated cylinder PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Which ones do you think it wouldn't be?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

A few answer choices can be eliminated here, as some are not even capable of holding water on their own. Therefore, they cannot be used to measure the volume of water. Then consider the vessels that do hold water. One is more narrow w/ smaller increments and the other is wider w/ larger increments. Can you identify which is which? Recall, if we're looking for a more specific, ACCURATE measurement of volume, you want the vessel that is more narrow w/ smaller increments (as there is less margin for error). Hope this helps! @Katie.J2000
