Will Medal and fan! The time it takes to cover the distance between two cities by car varies inversely with the speed of the car. The trip takes 6 hours for a car moving at 24 mph.What is the speed of a car that makes the trip in 4 hours?

You can solve this question in two steps. 1) Find the distance between two cities using the formula: \[d=s \times t\] - d is the distance - s is the speed - t is the time 2) Using the distance found in 'step 2', find the speed of the car. Use the same formula as above but rearrange it to solve for s. You are given the time(t) in the question.
