Sorry for late response.

First off, the easiest way to understand this is: direct democracy is basically the democratic rule, indirect democracy is more likely republican/conservatism. With that being said, you can research policies that indirect democracy has over direct.

Ex: Indirect democracy can give the people a say in what they want.

Ps. This was more of a political question than US History.
