OpenStudy (pharrison):

what is self-pollination

OpenStudy (brittanyrolfe):

Self pollination is when a plant has both male and female reproductive systems and uses the pollen from the male reproductive system to fertilize the seed in the female reproductive system. The male reproductive organ of the plant is called the stamen and the female reproductive organ is called the pistil.
