New Opinion, Read please :)


Lately it has come to my attention that even though we are getting a lot of new users and it may seem like OS is active, but in reality, most of these users are only here for “chatting”, taking away the “study” aspect of the website, which it was designed for. Most new users who ask questions quickly lose interest as little to none of their questions are actually answered with much thought. It is either with a quick direct answer that may be wrong, completely ignored, or very rarely, answered by experienced people who actually care. A large amount of the “chatters” are also breaking the rules that are set, with little to no consequences as many mods are inactive due to failures to upgrade mod tools. Examples of this are spamming, cursing, asking for relationships, etc, none of which this site was designed for. I am not just “complaining” or asking for dramatic changes as I know that is next to impossible, but I was just bringing up these points so that people may see them and change little things. A lot of little changes will bring a big change to the community. Some actions that can be taken are to help others when you see them struggling, kindly. Always be kind when interacting with others. Also report any activities you see that violate the code of conduct and/or terms and conditions. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct Also, be active and invite your friends :) this is a good way of expanding the community, this way more people will answer/ask questions. this is true, but the changes will unfortunately not be 100% possible. If things change that people don't want changed , they will leave this site.So be careful of what u mean

Why should I appreciate the mods?? They can't even revive my account that did absolutely no damage to this site. The username bothered them. Such biased. They don't even have a reason to to ban. How can I appreciate them when I was once filed for fake reports and the "amazing mods" didn't do anything about it.

Mods will continue being mods, i dont care for them that much cuz thier pretty good. I hate no one but if their will be changes, people will most likely leave the site and go somewhere else. This is not good for this sites reputation.Even though allot of things are not what they are supposed to be. I have nothing against this site. Yes I have done some bad things, and i deserved what i got after but some people just don't care for anything other them what they want.So in conclusion, if u want to change it, if you don't ,don't , just be careful of what the result might be.
