A camp director ordered 1.5 boxes of graham crackers for each group of campers. There are 7 groups in the camp. If there are 60 graham crackers in a box, how many crackers did she order in all?

OpenStudy (steve816):

1.5 boxes of graham crackers for EACH group of campers ya? And since there are 7 groups, you would first do 1.5 x 7 in order to find the total boxes of crackers.

OpenStudy (steve816):

How many boxes would that be?

OpenStudy (ericjohno123):

i got 10.5

OpenStudy (steve816):

Yup!, and since there are 60 graham crackers in a box, just multiply that by 60 10.5 x 60 = Answer :D

OpenStudy (ericjohno123):

i got 630

OpenStudy (steve816):

Great job :D

OpenStudy (ericjohno123):

thanks
