I need to earn 50 pts on this site for extra credit... how do I earn points and if you have any advice that would be great.

There isnt really a point system on this site, the closest there is, is your smartscore. you raise that by helping others, posting questions and earning medals. You get medals if you were helpful, and someone gives you one for it. You can also raise it by posting questions, and giving out medals for others help.

just answer people problems and get medals from them
