turn this into a graph............... y>2x+3
@563blackghost @Will.H
Hints: 1) First, consider how you would draw the straight line y=2x+3. Draw this line, but use a dashed line instead of a solid line. 2) Choose a test point from anywhere on your coordinate plane (except not one that lies on this dashed line). 3) Substitute the x- and y-vaues of this point into the inequality y>2x+3. 4) If the inequality is now true, shade the area from which this point came. Your shaded area is the solution set. 4b) If the ineq. is now false, shade the area opposite your text point. Please show your work if you want feedback.
@ANIMALOVER02
will the graph line be dotted or solid???
i think solid? right @563blackghost
Not quite it would be dotted. `< or >` are dotted. `<= or >=` are bold.
I explained that up front: "1) First, consider how you would draw the straight line y=2x+3. Draw this line, but use a dashed line instead of a solid line."
Dashed or dotted, that doesn't matter. Dashed is more common. Solid would be incorrect here.
