What is the value of the function y = 2x + 3 when x=−1x=−1 ?

Okay so.. If the equation is Y=2(-1) +3 What do you think you should do?
Well, I guess you don't want to learn, you just want me to solve it for you, but you won't learn that way unfortunately. *sad face* You are going to multiply the 2 with the -1 which would turn it to -2. now you have Y= -2+3 And I'm sure you'd know what to do next. add -2 and 3 together leaving you with Y= 1
