The community garden has $125 to purchase new plants that cost $15.99 each and bags of soil that cost $12.54 each where x is the number of purchased plants and y is the number of purchased bags of soil. Enter an inequality in standard form that represents this situation in the box.

I say 8 bags of soil which is $104 and which leaves you with $21. $125-$104=$21. Then you can divide that by $15.99 or $16 rounded. which is 1 plant. So you could say the inequality $125=8x12.54+1x$15.99.
