OpenStudy (anabo):

MEDAL The rule below shows how to find the distance traveled of an object thrown downward with initial velocity of 3 feet per second. Which answer expresses that rule in the form of an equation? Square the input and then multiply it by 16. Add this product to the initial velocity multiplied by the input. A. F(t) = 16t2 + 3t2 B. F(t) = 16t2 + 3t C. F(t) = (16t + 3t)2 D. F(t) = 16t2 - 3t

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

A - Silly, since both are t^2. What would be the point of that? C - Again, EVERYTHING squared. What would be the point of that? D - Why would velocity (down) be in the opposite direction from acceleration (down)?

OpenStudy (anabo):

So it's C? My math class didn't really tell me how to solve these types of problems lol

OpenStudy (anabo):

I meant B
