OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@louisa_carrillo

OpenStudy (kamibug):

por = for / by para = to

OpenStudy (matthew120):

study____ to receive good notes ? i think that what it says

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@KamiBug @matthew120 yes I'm wondering about the answers to these ! :-) I have concluded mine but want to see if i am correct

OpenStudy (kamibug):

What were your answers?

OpenStudy (kamibug):

I study __ recieve good notes. @matthew120 thanks :)

OpenStudy (matthew120):

np :D

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

I think 6 is B i meant

OpenStudy (kamibug):

That's correct!

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

and I think 7 is A!!?? @KamiBug

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Also correct.

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

wait don't leave please!! I have 4 more to check exactly like these:-) please stay if you will.

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Sure

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

these 3: wait i will tell you what i think they are :-)

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

8 is A

OpenStudy (kamibug):

That's right :)

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

9 is A?

OpenStudy (kamibug):

In this case, "para" can also mean "for".

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

so is 9 correct?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

and then i think 10 is B... but not sure

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Yep ^.^

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

so is 9 A ?? like i though?? @KamiBug

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

and then is 11 A?? i think...

OpenStudy (kamibug):

9 will be "para" Altho it's tricky lol, both sound like they'd work.

OpenStudy (kamibug):

What's 11 ?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

oh sorry.. last ones:

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

are 10 and 11 right?? then I'm stuck on 12...

OpenStudy (kamibug):

10 is right. 11 says I will buy gifts ___ my friends. 12 says The class needs to study ___ tomorrow. Remember "para" means "for".

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

you told me before that por means for???

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

you said: por = for / by para = to

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@KamiBug so now I'm confused

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Oh I'm sorry, well, in Spanish different words are used in different cases. xD I am used to it by the sound of it. Both por and para can mean for.

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

oh ok! so are these right????

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

@KamiBug

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Yes !

OpenStudy (kamibug):

All right ! Good work.
