Do you think criminals benefit more from community service or house arrest? Explain.

While there are many valid opinions on this matter, I believe it is better for criminals to do community service instead of house arrest. The reason behind this is that there are many introverted people who are criminals and house arrest wouldn´t be a punishment for them. However with community service it isn´t a reward for some criminals while a punishment for others. To add even more to that, the community service would allow them to gain respect for the public.
