OpenStudy (mecharv):

Can you identify what shape it is?

OpenStudy (mecharv):

@tacobell518 are you there?

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

its it a hexagon

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Correct, so do you know what is the sum of all internal angles of a hexagon is?

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

180x6 right?

OpenStudy (mecharv):

No, each angle in a hexagon is only 120 so it is 120*6 and that would be??

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

720

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Perfect, so add all the angles in the figure and equate it to 720...

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

ok let me look at it again and ill ad all of them then subtract it

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Perfect

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

@mecharv so far iv got 488 I don't know what the n+6 do I just add 6

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Yes you add the 6 to the 488 and then add both n's together..

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

n+n would be 2 right and 488 + 6= 494

OpenStudy (mecharv):

n+n would be 2n and yes that would be 494. So, 2n=494=720 2n=720-494 Can you find n? :)

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

heck yeah thanks I might need your help on a couple more 216 is the awser wright

OpenStudy (mecharv):

No, 2n is 216 what is n?

OpenStudy (tacobell518):

oh I got to divid 2 n that's 108

OpenStudy (mecharv):

Perfecto :)

OpenStudy (tacobell518):
