jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Graph the function

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[y=4\tan (2x)\] The book makes it look like i am wrong but check it out

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[-\frac{ \pi }{ 4 } | -\frac{ \pi }{ 8 } | 0 | \frac{ \pi }{ 8 } | \frac{ \pi }{ 4 } \]

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

\[UND | -4 | 0 | 4 |UND\]

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Those are my points but check if i am right @zepdrix @jim_thompson5910 @Directrix @ShadowLegendX

zepdrix (zepdrix):

I don't quite understand your notation :\ Hmm

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@zepdrix see attached

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Sorry its a graph https://gyazo.com/0896ec37a29ae8e91efef140abbfdda9 Thats what mathway got and mine is way different. But the first part is the first side of the graph and etc

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Yes i got undefined

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

your table looks good @jagr2713

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Ohh Thank you :D But aren't i right as well. But i researched it on math way and they got a totally different X's

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

what do you mean?

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Like in this link https://gyazo.com/0896ec37a29ae8e91efef140abbfdda9 I input the question and they got the x's different then mine. But i am 100% sure my answer is correct.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

show me what you put as the input

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You can use any x value you want as long as it leads to a defined value. In this case, they just used a different set of x values. Either table is perfectly fine

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Oh because i thought you set 2x = -pi/ and 2x=pi/2

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no you replace every x with whatever is shown in the x column

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

But we both are correct though? Cause it seems like it

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes either table is fine

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Thank you

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome
