OpenStudy (brivibes):

someone came to my shop and stole 100 dollars from the register without my knowledge the person came back with the same 100 dollars 5 minutes later and he bought 70 dollars in items and I gave back 30 dollars in change how much money did I lose?

OpenStudy (sam1234):

You lost a 100 and the 30 in change and the merchandise you sold also as part of inventory you lost that also as the person who stole came back as you said. Thks

OpenStudy (brivibes):

so whats ur answer

OpenStudy (aphex450):

wait no

OpenStudy (aphex450):

you lost 60

OpenStudy (aphex450):

because -100 then +70 then -30 = -60 meaning you lost 60

OpenStudy (sam1234):

No you lost more than 60 because of the stolen funds too...lol.

OpenStudy (sam1234):

And aphex what about the stolen 100 from before?...lol. thats also a loss too so.

OpenStudy (aphex450):

so you could add 100 to the loss

OpenStudy (aphex450):

so 160

OpenStudy (sam1234):

Yeah. But what about the inventory and the stolen goods paid for by the stolen money as goods as stolen too if stolen funds are.

OpenStudy (aphex450):

ok so he lost 200 wow i did that horribly lol
