Recruiting OS Members to QC

Hero:

Amongst the many selling points one might come up with to recruit members from OS to QC, one of them should be to offer to transfer their current smart score because this may become a dominant interest for former OS members as they transition here. I wonder, is there already a plan in place to recruit current and former OS members before the closure?

likeabossssssss:

jay is doing it u got to pay $5 us dollars

Angle:

$5 for the smartscore to be transferred over then there is also talk/discussion about if we should consider accepting requests to transfer over user's Questions Asked threads from openstudy. Only Questions Asked of a user, because the questions answered can get very complicated to transfer. it might have to be all or nothing transfer, and the cost would be $5 per hour needed to complete the transfer; that is an estimated 50 question threads transferred per hour -> so basically $5 per about 50 questions transferred

ILovePuppiesLol:

since QC was set up to basically be a home for OS members after OS dies, shouldnt it be complimentary to transfer smartscore over.. since the people that worked really hard over there will be in the same environment as the people that didnt and if their smartscores are equal on here that is a LITTLE unfair

Angle:

@ILovePuppiesLol Smartscore transfers have to be done manually by ultri; such manual tasks takes time and labor and therefore should be charged ;) but either way, with so few people around, and not that much question history - it is really really easy to level up on this site for the time being and regaining their os smartscore is not that difficult of a task

ILovePuppiesLol:

if it costs 5 dollars its probably not that hard em @Angle

Angle:

it's not hard, it just takes time and time = money

myininaya:

I think starting over is a challenge worth taking. Let the games begin.

Hero:

Nice to see you here @myininaya

korosh23:

Hello guys, I have been a member of OS for about 2 years now. I really like being in an environment in which I can help out people and also get help from. I have about 30 min every day to be here, and I want to see if I can get a position here ? What kind of policies are there for it?

Bob:

i always thought getting to 99 on here was easy

OregonDuck:

Is it easy to get SS fast on here?

Bob:

Yes, mariota.

remy:

because there's very few members atm, so the ladder is not very tall

celticcat:

Numbers are increasing though last time I was on there were only 4 in Mathematics. I like this one better than Brainly...

Hayhayz:

5 dollars? Eh... not worth it in my opinion lol..

OregonDuck:

yeah

ssddss02:

5 bucks is nothing

ssddss02:

I need atleast 500

psirockin3:

But Jay said recently that this deal was over
