OpenStudy (uberstudy):

Compare properties of squares and rhombi to properties of other quadrilaterals by answering each question. Write a brief explanation for each answer. (a) Describe a property of squares that is also a property of rectangles. (b) Describe a property of squares that is not a property of rectangles. (c) Describe a property of rhombi that is also a property of parallelograms. (d) Describe a property of rhombi that is not a property of parallelograms.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Lot's of "Describe" in there. Please start describing.

OpenStudy (uberstudy):

@tkhunny Right, with the first one (A) For properties of squares that is also properties of rectangles, all angles are right angles by definition. All angles are congruent

OpenStudy (uberstudy):

@tkhunny For B All angles are congruent

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

1) Don't ever write "All angles are congruent." 2) A square is a rectangle with four congruent sides. All of the angles of the figure are also Right Angles. Very good.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

3) You just contradicted yourself. Both squares and rectangles have four congruent angles. 4) Squares also have four congruent sides.
