@BreBreDoeCx I think you can rule out (B) in many cases. Sometimes medium-term goals do not have any short-term goals they are a single defined task that just takes a while to complete and other times they are a short-time-frame goal that will start in the later in a project.

Short-term just means something you will complete relatively soon on the schedule. In the middle of a project what was a medium-term goal should become a short-term goal as it is almost complete.
