OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Which of the following can be an element of both mechanical and chemical weathering? oxygen gravity carbon dioxide water

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

what do you think?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

c?

OpenStudy (brittanyrolfe):

I think it might be water. I mean, water can weather by both mechanical (forming rivers, or splitting rock... aka the Grand Canyon) and chemical properties (rusting).

OpenStudy (moose.):

Okay so we can definitely cross out gravity. Oxygen can be played with to make tools, but not weather, so that's out too. I think it should be water, but why would you suggest carbon dioxide? It's the only one I'm not sure of haha.
