OpenStudy (mathmale):

You need to SHOW your work if you want feedback on it. Doesn't matter if you've done this work on paper and come up with answers if you're not willing to show evidence of your efforts.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@iwanttogotostanford are you able to take a snapshot of your page?

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

i already have my work please trust me.... no! I don't have a smartphone and no digital camera with me I'm sorry please trust me if you can

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

did you set 1-x larger than or equal to 0? ie did you set up this inequality? \[\Large 1-x \ge 0\]

OpenStudy (iwanttogotostanford):

yup//

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

what would you get if you solved for x?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hint: add x to both sides

OpenStudy (mhchen):

Are we supposed to solve for the first question, or the second question? or both?

OpenStudy (mhchen):

Your screenshot doesn't show answer choice (D) for the 2nd question, but since (A), (B), and (C) are all incorrect, I would agree by process of elimination that answer choice (D) is correct :3

OpenStudy (mathmale):

mhchen: don't you mean "the RANGE of the parent function includes NO negative values?"
