Which statement correctly explains how Andre should find a solution to the following system of linear equations using elimination? 8s-9t=15 7s-2t=12 Multiply the first equation by –7 and the second equation by 8, and then subtract. Multiply the first equation by 7 and the second equation by 8, and then subtract. Multiply the first equation by 2 and the second equation by 9, and then add. Multiply the first equation by –2 and the second equation by 9, and then subtract.

the idea of elimination is to multiply each equation by a number so that either the terms in s or t have the same value so oe variable can be eliminated by subtraction. MCQ? - I'm not sure
