please help! will give medal 1) which ordered pair is a solution tot he system? {y>-2 {x+y≤4 (0, -4), (1, 3), (-2, -3), (1, 5) 2) which ordered pair is a solution tot eh system? {y≤2x+1 {y>-x-5 (-1, -1), (-1, 2), (-3, -1), (0, 4)
1) y has to be greater than -2. That narrows down your answer to two possibilities. Then just plug in x and y and see if it is less than or equal to 4
ok so it will be (1, 3)?
Bingo
and for the second one?
Also i have more questions that are already answered can you just check them for me?
Sure, but i cannot guarantee that i know how to solve the problems, so i will have no idea of knowing whether or not they are correct.
its ok i got it what about the second questions above?
No idea, trying to figure it out. Its been a while since i have had to do these sort of problems lol
ok thanks anyways
@zepdrix please help!
is that all the information that you are given for 2?
yes
its similar to the first question.
Ok i get it, just plug in the x and y values and see if they satisfy the requirements.
i tried that, but its not getting me anywhere.
(-1,-1)
thank you so much!
thanks
It is the only pair that you can plug into both equations and still meet the conditions. You can do the math for all of them, but its just tedious work. No problem.
i think...
