i have to write a timed essay tomorrow and i need some help
i have to compare and contrast how the genocide and the holocaust were similar or different, i have to compare the two books LEFT TO TELL and THE DIARY OF ANN FRANK. i have to talk about their method of confinement and the company they kept during it. what focus helped them cope with their situation and their attitude throughout the experience.

Ann Frank, as far as I know, managed to avoid being transported to the death camps for quite some long time by hiding, and writing her diary.

In the death camps, it seems that there was slave/forced labour, until the inmate became too weak to work and then it was the gas chamber. Presumably survival was almost a matter of luck, I don't know. When the allies liberated the camps, I think that a lot of them would have been traumatised by what they saw and witnessed.
