I need help setting up an equation for this. http://prntscr.com/dgb7n8 Please help.

OpenStudy (royalranger):

All three sides of triangle add up to 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (royalranger):

angles not side, my bad.

OpenStudy (poto):

That's okay :)

OpenStudy (poto):

So How would I set up an equation to find x?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

First you would need to find y. So angle A is equal to angle C. Once you find y, plug it in and see what angle C is.

OpenStudy (poto):

okay then afterwards I add angle C with angle B

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Its not exactly necessary to find y, because i can see what Angle C is without finding y. But its good to get in the habit of finding your values.

OpenStudy (poto):

Yes, it is good to get in the habit :)

OpenStudy (royalranger):

Angle A + Angle C + (6x+4) = 180 and solve for x

OpenStudy (poto):

Ah, okay. Thank you very much Royal! :) Do you mind if I tag you If I need anymore help?

OpenStudy (royalranger):

I just found out about this website a few hours ago. So i am not familiarized with the mechanics of it. But sure, go ahead. If i am available, i will see if i can help.

OpenStudy (poto):
