Feudal lords granted charters to guilds, allowing them to regulate trade. What did guilds do for their lords in return? The guilds paid taxes, as well as a percentage of their trade profits, to their lords. The guilds paid taxes, helped raise armies, and provided other services for their lords. The guilds helped build centers of town governance, where they agreed to serve on political councils. The guilds provided military service for their lords during times of war in domestic and foreign lands. Im thinking maybe A or B Idl please help

oh lol well i think he's helped me with history before so idk lol
It's A, the guilds weren't obligated to provide service to their lords. They just fell under their lord's jurisdiction.
ok thank you! (;
i was thinking that too

so this is the question : Analyze the painting, focusing on the interactions between people illustrated. Using specific examples from the painting, describe how the painting reflects economic and social changes in medieval Europe. Your answer should be a minimum of two to three sentences.
lunch?
It does look like they're going to eat doesn't it
im so tired lol its about 6 am and i was LITERALLY up all night ugly lmao face/eyes kill
Saaaame!
it's 5:59AM
same
where im at
lolol!
well 5:58 but same
looks like they're preparing for an event with food?
now 5:59
yeah it does
i cant think I'm too exhausted I'm a zombie right now
Well, social changes. Maybe they changed because now they're getting together? Ah. History history history. History with art. I'm already not the best with history and they add art to the question
monster works WONDERS.... lol jk jk
it looks like a social gathering in preparation. there is food which is part of the preparation... they seem to be enjoying getting things ready? also the stuff they are wearing is more typical of lower class members in that time
I mean MIDDLE class
xD lololol
OR maybe the event is already happening and they're having a party, having fun... could be either. hard to interpret
i need like 3 good sentences about it /:
Well they already have food on the table and even some glasses with wine in them so maybe the event is already happening
the two people in the below right corner appear to be dressed in higher class clothing and they look like they are carrying some sort of alcoholic drink... so maybe they are drunk
but generally this appears to be preparation for OR the beginning of a feast. they are preparing wine and food... setting the table... I think that kid in the orange clothes is stealing a plate of food?
but the question is asking to "describe how the painting reflects economic and social changes in medieval Europe"
I'm stuck on this one too. It's pretty confusing. So much going on in one painting.
AHHH OKAY OKAY social changes: you see the different types of outfits and clothing they are wearing? the variety means that they are from different classes in society, but they are in the same room and generally appear to be getting along. so class prejudice is probably less than before. economic: the food appears to be generally good, so economy must be good if they can afford good food
you could say socially they changed to have more solidarity
plus the stuff on the shelves and the quality of the clothing in general appears to be brighter and more vivid than previous depictions. even the peasant (?) or lower class people's clothing, it's less dull, more lively... which means again, they can afford better materials than before.
or maybe you could say they have artistic objects like the plates and vases... the aesthetic quality again points to more money from a better economy... if you were poor you wouldn't buy fancy things for your house yeah?
does that work? did it off the top of my head...
