just need help determining if they are rational or irrational.

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

rationals are fractions of integers

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

e.g \[1=\frac{1}{1}\]\[\frac{23}{34}\]

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

we can't reduce irrationals to fractions of integers

OpenStudy (asdfghj8):

so how do I determine if something is irrational or rational?

OpenStudy (amilapsn):

try to reduce it to a fraction of integers. if you can't do that then it's irrational.

OpenStudy (asdfghj8):
