OpenStudy (kaedalozzano10):

What will be the lowest common denominator for the fractions 2/3 and 4/5? A. 30 B. 18 C. 9 D. 15

OpenStudy (desmarie):

the answer is 15......you can look at it as 5 times 3 or just because that is the lowest number that they both go into. For example 3 does not go into 5 or 10 so the next multiple of 5 which is 15 is a number that 3 does go into therefore that is the lowest common denominator. hope this helps :)

OpenStudy (kaedalozzano10):

ok thanks
