Vertically would mean in the y direction, so follow this rule : http://prntscr.com/dh3xxm Just multiply the function, f(x), by the constant \(\large \color{red}{\frac{1}{3}} f(x) = \color{red}{\frac{1}{3}}(12x+6) \)
I think this would help you.
Your answer is D. G(x)=4x+2
