There are 8 weeks remaining on OS and I am (518nad) SUSPENDED for 11 weeks.

To think this is what marks the end of OS for me. Heartless. To most of you, this will not mean anything, not a concern of yours to bear. That is fine, to those few, who would wear my shoes, only but for a moment. Please give ear, hear the tale of my final days on OS.

I want to believe that over these couple years I've visited this place, I've left something of substance, something of some value to someone. Like you all, I've managed to help a few people and make a few friends now and then. It is sad this must come to an end like this. I will miss this place, whether I should or not. Though I'd reluctantly deny it, I might and probably do to some extent have an attachment to this place. But please don't judge me for my honesty. Oh but, if you'd only ask yourself, are you so different from me? Have you never laughed here, was your story not shared, have you not made a friend here? Wont you miss this place here? Will no one shed a tear?

I have always been very open with my friends with most things. I've shared my account with a few along these years. Some of my account's visitors were more playful than others. On December 8th of 2016, there was one who caught the attention of a certain moderator. She spoke a few words too many, took a little space too plenty, acted an age too young. Did she stop after a few seconds? Yes. Did she say anything hurtful? No. Was she warned? No. Who is to bear the punishment ? Why me ofcourse. 11 weeks, oh excuse me, not 11, but to the very end of Openstudy.

Until the very end, I believed the moderators chosen were of good nature. The duty of a moderator, no the duty of an elder person serving a young community is and has always been to guide them in the right direction. To help them find their way, to build them up. Power is not there for your convenience, to clear clutter so that you can chat a bit more freely. Power is not given for you to conform those who are so easily influenced into the molds you have shaped. Power is not for you to tear someone down when they are vulnerable. Power is not for you, when it is used to disengage someone who just sought a little attention. The youth are rash, bashful, and utmost young.

When was it? The day you exchanged the intricacies of a human for a few lines of the Code of Conduct? When was it? The day you believed you were old enough to know what's right? When was it? The day your wisdom surpassed the innocence of youth. Whaen was it, that your morality saved a soul?

After I was suspended, there was one mod, who took pity on me, the youngest of them all. She gave me a chance to bid farewell to a few friends in the very end. She gave attention, she showed heart though she had her own burdens to bear. Within 15 mins the same Moderators who had banned, returned to ban me yet again. Reason: Evading suspension, Code Of Conduct violation. And to this moment, they question the actions of the moderator who had compassion, they conspire and lie in wait to find grounds to ban me once again.

im not crying, im just cutting onions :(, i do not know what happened, 11 weeks seems a little harsh, especially because the end of OS is so near, in my time here I have not noticed dan as much of a nuisance, yet you suspend a long time user instead of the many trolls that lie in the shadows, ones that use this site only for their pleasure of breaking the rules, I hope to not be suspended for my opinion and I respect the moderator's decisions, but I would vote to rethink this decision as it may have gone a little overboard..

I've seen you spamming plenty of times though Dan, quite obsessively and considerably. If you wish to spend time on the site that you state as being one you hold dear, resist the urge to fill spam with endless clutter.

I'm assuming your main account got suspended, and I see why and I know you've had trouble with others logging onto your account. So lets make a deal, I reinstate you and you change your password and help out again as you have been doing lately, and of course do not spam :), as the rules still apply! 
I know you quite well dan, and the suspension you've had I do agree is a bit harsh, heck I don't remember the last time I suspended someone, I believe in having a conversation and understanding the problem and maybe finding a solution other than having to suspend people, as I always say, we're one big family, till the end! Anyways enjoy the last couple of months and have a great holidays!

He is already reinstated he was suspended 4 times by and so i reinstated him i don't care if a user does something bad I honestly don't, if it can be fixed by having a convo then why not? I definitely agree with what you have written bat <3

To clear the misunderstanding,  Dan had spammed 518nad, he was suspended on this account. He was suspended by the mod and after that he was reinstated by me because i felt that it was too harsh. For spam i'd go 5 mins on a suspension just to get them to stop spamming. However when i came back online I saw that dan got suspended again, so I reinstated him again. I went back online and I get told he got suspended AGAIN, this time it was for evading a suspension....that's a it annoying because he isn't evading any suspension he had been reinstated. So I put him back, and then I messaged the mod who kept suspending the user to stop and let the user enjoy the time they have left on the site. The mod basically told me, "Hogwash.  He threatened to spam until he was suspended.  It was totally out of control and you cannot properly justify your excusing his action.  It was a deliberate Denial of Service attack.  No other way to judge it." I think that took it a step too far, simply put dan spammed. Is it a big deal? Is it worth suspending 11 weeks for?  Probably not.  After that the mod left dan alone, so I don't think he'll be suspend again unless he spams  -.-  
Dan, I really feel for you on this one. NO ONE deserves to go through this, I would have been really pissed if this happened to me however you handled it pretty well kudos to you for that! :)
