I WILL BE KICKED OUT IF I DONT GET THIS DONE!! I NEED A CONCLUSION WRITEN BUT I CANT FIGURE IT OUT SOMEONE HELP!!!
It all started with rumors of the death, four young college student. Samantha, age 21, was a pale, white, slender, and to herself type of girl with long, brown hair and hazel eyes; she did well with sound equipment. Todd, 19, muscular, jock type, with crystal blue eyes and short brown hair who lead well. Damon was a stealthy, ninja-like, tan, average height, jet black hair and crystal blue eyes who was 20 years old and great at sneaking into places without getting caught. Lastly the hacker, Alice, 22 years old short and skinny with black short hair and elf like features with yellowish eyes. Everyone met in junior year of high school and had been friends ever since. Each and every one of them had always been intrigued by the mystery, so when they heard or the Cask of Amontillado, everyone did their own separate research and reported to each other. They started out they're journey on finding you the truth of the Cask of Amontillado. On one breezy, cold mid-March evening, while Damon was walking home from his Thursday night class, he received a text from Samantha, who was chaotically rambling about the "Cask of Amontillado." She is typing too fast to even form coherent words let alone sentences, saying over and over she found the tombs where the story was written about, and that it wasn't just some mystery in high school. Damon once along with Alice was so invested in uncovering the true tale, but as life got in the way and the days turned into weeks and months, that excitement and spark that drove the group died off. Now it is 6 months later in the Middle of the spring semester. Damon is swamped with chemistry homework and a literature test that he has been putting off for two weeks and it's due Monday. He nods off the texts from Samantha with a "wow cool" and continues back to his dorm. As the night passes and he finds himself unable to focus, he grabs his phone and reads the last few messages from her. "Damon I'm not kidding this time, I found where the tomb is, the tomb is below one of the most famous art museums in Venice, Italy the Gallerie dell'Accademia. Let's for old time sake get the gang back together and go solve the mystery that has been eating us up for years. C'mon you know you can't help but be just a little curious after all this time." Although Damon does not want to admit that Samantha is right, he just reread that text 5 times and his eyes lit up like the first time he snuck into his neighbor's pool for a midnight swim when he was 14 years old. Who needs chemistry test and a literature paper when he could be solving the real bones of Fortunato. He quickly writes to Alice and Todd convincing them to join the discovery mission. They would never see it coming but this adventure would lead them down even stranger and wilder paths than ever before, but at least this time they are together once again just like old times. On the way to class the next day Alice ran up to the group of friends and asked, "Hey! Have you heard the stuff people are talking about right now?" as she showed everyone a newspaper clipping of the re-opened case of the murder of Fortunato. "No, what's up?" everyone replied and reached for the paper, they all gasped in response. "Hey guys, want to go for a little trip?" Alice questioned with a smirk, little did she know everyone happily agreed. Since the whole group was already back on the trail and fired up, the news only rattled their cages more and it was set. They weren't going to miss this chance again. "Maybe we should all do a little more research instead of jumping head first into something we know so little about," Damon stated. "How's about we all go home later and do research, meet back at my place after school maybe around six or seven," Damon continued on and suggested, while everyone agreed and continued on to class. Each one of them was too eager to wait to get home to research the case, so they started early and used their phones in class and read up on the story and they each got more and more curious. They each started with reading the story, then watched a different version of videos and movies to see how this came to be and even did research on Edgar Allen Poe. A few of them were skeptical but Damon and his sneaky self, decided to look up maps of the mansion, and with a little help from Alice, got into the secret blueprints of the mansion and found that there were indeed secret tunnels. They all gathered at Damon's house and each of chaotically and excitedly cleaned off a table, wiping everything off of it onto the floor and breaking a few glasses accidentally in the surge of adrenaline flooding the room. It was an understatement to say they were eager and inspired to solve this mystery. They all quickly laid down papers and laptops spreading across Damon's room, and by 3am, the plan was set. Alice booked them a flight out that morning. Only Todd had ever been outside of the country and for Samantha, she had never even been outside of Florida before. They quickly ran back to their dorms and packed their bags. Meeting back at Damon's at 6:30am sharp. But as they all expected, Todd was running late. Quickly, they jumped into the car and made their way to the airport, barely making their 8am flight on time they ran through security. Samantha advised the group to get some sleep on the 9-hour flight but that idea was laughed off by everyone including herself. This seemingly sleepless weekend would change their perception of reality forever. By midnight in Venice, they were all settled into their little motel room. Just like in the fable, it was carnival season and the art gallery was hosting an event the next afternoon. With the fake janitor, ID's Alice made and the Italian for Dummies book Todd bought they were nervous but ready to tear down the wall... Literally. The plan was to meet at the side entrance at noon, Todd and Damon were the janitorial staff while Alice and Samantha followed suit in being a part of the wait staff. All in place, the mission had begun, following the blueprints it was Damon's job to find the tunnels and text the group to sneak off when found. It didn't take longer than 30 minutes before he was in and the group was standing beside him. They closed the door behind them and turned on the flashlights, Todd immediately asked if we should turn back but he knew that would never happen. As they walked through the tunnels and tombs, they jumped at every mystifying sound. Most of the time it was Todd breathing down their necks or the occasional rat, but no ghost of Fortunato. At last, they reached the wall, that old, dusty, forsaken wall. Not a brick was missing. Damon looked over at Todd saying, "It's time for your job man," as Damon handed him the sledgehammer. One echoing deep breath and minutes later, the wall was no more. The whole group gasping in terror they saw his bones. Samantha grabbed the skull and ran out of the tunnels as quick as she could because above they could hear sirens and the police scrambling the scene. By that night they were on their way back to Miami, and not as the great murder mystery exhibitionists as there would have liked to be known as. But now, the daunting and life-consuming responsibility of being the thief's that stole Fortunato's head and international crooks. Who would have known, what once was a mystery tale in school would be the one thing that "sealed" their fates as well?
