Just then Kate turned around and saw Mr. Jacks leaned up against a tree petting dozer.

“what are you doing here” asked Kate,

“was I supposed to let you go off on your own now” Mr. Jacks mockingly replied “well let’s get going we have ground to cover”.

Kate and Mr. Jacks then got up and started walking east, after walking half the day away Kate and Mr. Jacks stopped by a river to take a sip of water, Mr. Jacks was tired of walking and so was Kate, dozer on the other hand was excited he finally got to go on the walk he had been Longingly anticipated.

Kate broke the silence and said “can we please stop for today I’m exhausted”

Mr. Jacks responded with “we cannot stop if we are going to find food or shelter tonight”

Kate wondered about the people that where back at the field, she then thought about how everything was going there. Out of nowhere Dozer jumps into the river and starts floating down stream.

“We’ve got to get him” said Mr. Jacks

Kate’s quick thinking brings her to grab a log and float her and Mr. Jacks down the river. While floating, they see dozer off to the side on the grass barking at something (this river is kind of like a ditch it has a little incline on both sides of it, so you can’t see too far out of it), they quickly paddle over to the side and climb up the little mound. They grab dozer and look towards where he was barking. To their surprise there was a huge military base.

Mr. Jacks looks at it in disbelief and says “hurry this way there has to be dry clothes somewhere in here”

Within a instant Mr. Jacks had found a way into the deserted base, they walked through the corridors and saw many rooms with tables and chairs.
“This didn’t look like a school” said Kate

Just then Mr. Jacks turns a corner and opens a locker “aha here we are” there were three air base jump suits

One was big enough for Mr. Jacks, another was the size of Kate and the last was perfect to dry off dozer, Kate went into one of the class rooms and changed, so did Mr. Jacks, after Mr. Jacks finished changing he dried off Dozer while waiting for Kate. Kate finished changing and came out the room. She walked over to dozer and sat down on one of the seats next to the lockers.

Just then Mr. Jacks said “come on I have an idea follow me”

They all started down the hall way towards two doors like they were in a movie, their hair flying back and dozers ears flopping around as they all walked epically down the hall.
