I would say A, as the other options can be eliminated. 
The chinese never moved to the Nile (that is in Africa) and the Chinese certainly did not last only 50 years, many of their dynasties lasted longer than that. And B is speaking of a mountain when the question asks about a river, so that too can be eliminated.
