OpenStudy (galasca):

The Yellow River, also known as the Huang He River, impacted the growth of ancient Chinese civilization in what way? The geographical features provided a safe location that was isolated from invaders and enabled the growth of Chinese culture without outside influence. The mountains provided an easy method for outside invaders to surprise and attack the Chinese. Drought forced the ancient Chinese civilization to move from the Huang He River valley to the Nile River Valley. Chinese civilization did not last more than 50 years due to Japanese invasion.

OpenStudy (galasca):

I think it's A, however I am unsure

OpenStudy (epiconline):

I would say A, as the other options can be eliminated. The chinese never moved to the Nile (that is in Africa) and the Chinese certainly did not last only 50 years, many of their dynasties lasted longer than that. And B is speaking of a mountain when the question asks about a river, so that too can be eliminated.
