hey, sometimes if a single BP changes, it doesn't cause any change in the amino acid because of the wobble theory. the same amino acid as multiple codons, or triplets, that code for that particular amino acid. so if you look and you see for instance that the change causes the codon to become that of a different amino acid then you may have a mutation. @marceljr59
