OpenStudy (skypie13):

Use the coordinate grid to determine the coordinates of point A; What are the coordinates of point A?

OpenStudy (skypie13):

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

what do you think?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

the units in your grid (little boxes) are 1/4 apart so count how meany to the right and how many to downwards you should get the coordinates of A

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

downwards you are in the negative side

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

tell me how many boxes can you count stopping at where the points is in the x axis direction

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

it is simple not that hard you think it is

OpenStudy (skypie13):

3?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

how did you count 3 boxes?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

oh yeah i see you counted down first

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

it is 3 boxes down which mean the y coordinate should be -3 quarter (remember each box is a quarter) so y=-3/4

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

now count to the right

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

figured it out?

OpenStudy (skypie13):

Yeah.

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

ok
