OpenStudy (denisesmith):

Can some one check me please? If someone told you a story about being mistreated by the restaurant staff at a nearby eatery, this would be an example of _____ evidence. A) anecdotal <-----my answer B) conditional C) empirical D) logical

OpenStudy (otherworldly):

Anecdotal: (of an account) not necessarily true or reliable, because based on personal accounts rather than facts or research. Empirical:based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic. It wouldnt be logical or conditional because it happened to the person so conditional wouldnt work nor logical. That leaves anecdotal and empirical. look at the definitions, what do you think it is

OpenStudy (denisesmith):

Anecdotal way it looks

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Yeah, because they told you a story. Unless you go back in time you can't physically verify, and so the only person with experience would be the person telling the story themselves. Which isn't reliable enough.

OpenStudy (denisesmith):

okay thanks I was thinking that it was anecdotal

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Okay. Can I have a medal for my answer? :v
