A model rocket is launched. The height, h in feet, of the rocket after t seconds is modeled by the equation h = -16t2 + 110t + 1 Find the vertex of this parabola that opens down to find the maximum height of the model rocket rounded to two decimal places. Confused as to how to get the answer; can someone help?

\[h= -16t^2 + 110t +1\] Okay, so there are multiple ways to solve this. Recall that: Vertex (h,k) h= -b/2a So: \[h=\frac{ 110 }{ 2(-16) }\] \[h=\frac{ 55 }{ -16 }\]
Very roughly: |dw:1481432804432:dw|
