OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

Is this In MLA format?

Nnesha (nnesha):

8 December 2016 no comma

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

I know the paper was pretty redundant, I was in a rush.

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you know how to change space ??

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

yeah

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you see `paragraph` and there is an arrow next to it (first highlight the whole essay mot including work cited page ) click on that and then vv

Nnesha (nnesha):

are you allowed to use pronouns ?

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

@Jbnewscheck ... There are a lot of grammatical errors... check for fragments, run ons & capitalization errors

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

It is good that you have introduced the author in your intext citations, this needs to be followed by a page number. (pg number). <-- period. This is true for all of your citations. You need to included page numbers in your works cited source.

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

easybib.org this is a great website that will give you free citations in MLA format. I would double check the format of your citations in your works cited page. just to be sure...

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

Thanks, I appreciate it I'm a freshman and still learning.

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

no worries! i think its great what you have so far but your writing style can be improved ... try to consider the audience --> your professor will be reading this. the purpose of this paper i assume is to inform him on the research that you have done regarding the sports teams you have researched. the voice of your paper shouldn't be from a first paper perspective. maybe try writing in 3rd person passive ?

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

I agree, much revision is needed.

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

Can you believe I dished this out in an hour?

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

Well I can because it's not that great lol

OpenStudy (sunnnystrong):

@Jbnewscheck If you ever do plan to go to college in the future, a lot of the courses require you to be good at "on demand" writing. I wish I was a better writer when I was in 9th grade haha... Just try and practice and think about literary devices you can use to help strengthen your paper. If you have time, it isn't a bad idea to have your teacher look it over and ask for their feedback.

OpenStudy (jbnewscheck):

@sunnnystrong Yeah I agree, it's just tough trying to get accustom to this environment. I used to be home schooled.
