OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

the points o the curve represent the number of teams remaining in a tournament as a function of the number of games that have been played. enter the number of teams who began the tournament in the box

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

i want to say it was 4 but idk

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

Why 4?

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

because the first point is (4,4)

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

so pretty much i would guess it as y = 4 teams remaining and x = 4 games play

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

oh wait no its 64 isnt it

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):

The x-axis is the number of games the played, as they play more games more teams lose and thus less remain. It asks how many initially began the tournament; wherein x = 0. So it began with 64

OpenStudy (uscrnamc):

i was looking at the graph wrong for some reason i was thinking it was going up but then i double looked and its going down

OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):
