2x+7=4x-7 4x-2x=7+7 2x=14 4x=2*2x=2*14=28

Not quite right. To solve you first analyze the triangle. It indicates two sides are equal so `Side AC equal to Side AB`. Lets set this up in an equation. \(\LARGE\bf{AC=AB}\) Substitute. \(\LARGE\bf{2x+7=4x-7}\) \(\LARGE\bf{-2x=-14}\) \(\LARGE\bf{x=7}\) You then input for side BC. \(\huge\bf{BC=4(7)}\)
