D?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I'm actually really bad with compression/stretching e_e

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I believe that horizontal compression by factor \(b\) results in function adaptation \(f(bx\)) though.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I agree. Multiplying "5x" by 5 "compresses" the graph horiz. Were you to mult."5x" by, say, (1/3), that would do the opposite: "expand the graph horiz."

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Okay, thank you for confirmation @mathmale

OpenStudy (yuii):

Does that make my answer correct?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I don't know. I will graph it to make sure @Yuii

OpenStudy (yuii):

Okay, thank you.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Okay... I really am not quite sure. I will ask someone else to check. Sorry

OpenStudy (yuii):

It's fine.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

@mathmale I'm sorry; I got stuck again. Can you please assist instead? I apologize

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Wait, why did you close this one?

OpenStudy (yuii):

I didn't get an answer for this one.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

You can bump it... o-o

OpenStudy (yuii):

I'm aware but I prefer a new question.
